“All for Annandale” is the AMA school motto, and title of the Alma Mater,
sung to “Hey Tutti Taiti!”, the tune of “Scots Wha Hae wi’ Wallace
Bled.” Traditionally, singing the sixth verse is a privilege reserved to
members of the First Class.
- Alma Mater, here and now
We your latest children bow,
Making each a solemn vow:
All for Annandale! - Give us courage, make us wise,
Eager for life’s enterprise,
Risking all that in us lies,
All for Annandale! - See, our guidon overhead
Paints the breeze with gold and red:
Many brothers it has led
On for Annandale! - Bound to them by blue and grey,
Ready for the coming day,
All our hearts together say:
On for Annandale! - We have races still to run,
Battles to be lost and won:
Still we’ll bring, when day is done,
All to Annandale! - Annandale, your mighty tow’rs
Guarded childhood’s final hours:
Now we pledge you all our pow’rs–
All for Annandale!
